A very well reasoned and mature response you have given! Unfortunately for much of the masses the 'need' for gratification in the present will preclude them from relating the wisdom given. The desire/need for comfort of the spirit crosses ALL lines of race and gender as well as in to the rest of animal kingdom. Seems the human capacity to be able to ruminate about their thinking leaves the door wide open to install all sorts of "moral" standards that for the most part are self serving. Interesting is how SOME will deny categorizing people by race and slap labels on as a way to orchestrate the societal outcome. Especially arrogant when it serves to separate they are still humans! Lifestyle and conditions are not always of choice, and when born into certain situations it can be a real challenge to make change OR choice. And it certainly is NOT a matter of desire. The options are NOT always equal, emotionally, physically, educationally, or financially. When allowance for others lifestyle/situation is not taken into account progress has it's share of roadblocks. Giving someone a book will not help much if they first don't know how to read! |
