A while back I posted about the parents getting the children back and the way the appeals court ignored the documented conditions that constitute a real danger to the children - the documents being the cult's own records.

Yes, Jeffs is serving time. But it looks like he will be the only one that ever serves time from that group. They traffic in child rape across the border with Canada. The religion is a cover.

The most infuriating thing for me is all the people who think that these creeps are just trying to live simple religious lives. I wouldn't care if it was a collection of consenting adults having promiscuous sex in the desert. I might watch. But that's not what it is. These people breed for the express purpose of having a lot of little girls for the OLD men to fuck. And they trade the little girls between compounds in two countries. And any boys born are not wanted - too much competition for the old men.

They practice polygamy - a crime in Texas - they will not be prosecuted this time around for it. The press attention to the unknown caller, the press attention to the bawling mothers, the apathy of this generation of TV watchers is going to set these people free. They will probably get no billed and go on the way they were.

We need some consistency.

And as far as it being "the Texas thing, " let's just say it's a neighborhood thing from my perch.
