Legalizing prostitution would be a solution to a lot of problems but it doesn't address the present situation. The FLDS communities engage in criminal activities - things that are illegal right now starting with existing as breeding grounds for human stock to a select group of men. It's a specialized version of what appeared in South Carolina in the 18oo's, "...they are not Negroes selected out of a larger gang for the purpose of a sale, but are prime. Their present Owner, with great trouble and expense, selected them out of many for several years past. They were purchased as stock and breeding Negroes, and for any Planter who particularly wanted them for that purpose, they are a very choice and desirable gang." At the YFZ Ranch they are not breeding for choice Negroes, they are breeding for females.
